A lifelong lover of tea, Obaid founded teaplomacy as a way to combine his passions for diplomacy, policy, and human connection. Through storytelling over a warm cup of tea, he creates spaces where diverse voices are heard, relationships are built, and ideas are transformed into collective strength. In a world often divided by tension, Teaplomacy offers a peaceful and tangible way to foster understanding and collaboration across borders.
Who we are
teaplomacy is an emerging non-profit dedicated to building diplomacy - one cuppa tea at a time. Our goal is to connect people from around the world, in person or virtually, fostering understanding and dialogue amid the conflicts shaping today’s youth.
We create a space for sharing stories, exchanging perspectives, and learning from one another. Members can explore social issues through upcoming free courses taught by volunteer professionals and professors, network with peers in their fields, or simply make friends with strangers from across the globe.
At teaplomacy, every conversation over tea brings the world a little closer.
